Even a sad Russian mercenary boss understands it takes more than 25K well armed troops with artillery and air defense to carry out an insurrection. You really think a fraction of that made up of unarmed nut cases was a threat? Even back as far as Vietnam insurrectionists knew to show up at the gates with tanks and planes.

Consider the two universes....

Universe 1:

Of those that voted for Trump, 99 percent don't care what the facts are, they are anti-Biden no matter what. And so these hearings have no actual effect on them, one way or another.

Of those that voted for Trump, however, some portion -- let's call it 20 percent or so -- now have misgivings about Trump, especially after 1/6. These hearings do not make them more likely to vote for Trump. If it has any effect at all on that group, it is they'd vote for someone else in the primaries and simply that they won't vote at all in the general.


Universe 2:

Of those that voted for someone other than Trump, 99 percent understand that Hunter Biden engaged in criminal activity tied to his additions at the time. The majority are willing to give him a chance to prove himself in his rehabilitation. Only a tiny percentage think any of this is tied to Joe Biden.

And of those that voted for someone other than Trump, 99 percent understand these hearings to be pure kabuki theater and a waste of time and money.


The result is that this is meaningless except for those who make money off of the Fox-Breitbart-Newsmax-Mark Levin-Hannity echo chamber.

in Universe 2, are average Americans going to jail for the exact thing Hunter was guilty of? And are Democrats demonizing those same people? Because in reality that is what is going on. The only reason Joe gets brought up in reality is because its clear Hunter is being given hugely preferential treatment average Americans aren't.

Its not surprising or new, but that doesn't make it any less wrong or corrupt.
