FCC Begins Teardown Process on Net Neutrality

no, easiest fix is to just not allow the corporations to get in bed with the government. its the same difference as separation of church and state. there is an inherent disconnect in the two mission statements.

a lot of this could be fixed if we just changed up the way government worked instead of constant fix jobs. thats what allow corporations in. imo

That would be impossible. Government by nature is corrupt. The only way to decrease government corruption is to decrease the size and scope of the government. I'm not forced to do business with a corrupt business (unless there is government coercion ala paying for a billionaire's sports arena). I am however, forced to do business with a corrupt government.

i would think removing one of the sources of corruption from government, ie businesses, would decrease corruption.

Huff and I are just arguing whose corruption we prefer. actually I don't know if we are doing that. Huff is pretending removing government solves the business corruption side; I am trying to point out the government should be protecting us from said corruption not ignoring it.

If government is corrupt by nature that would mean humans are corrupt by nature.

I would say "corruptible", not "corrupt", but yeah. Humans are corruptible by nature so give humans as little power over other humans as necessary.

You're pretending I'm making arguments that I'm not.

Again, why do we need another layer in this case? I am not saying remove all internet regulation. I am not saying remove Sherman antitrust. I am not saying there would be no corruption without government. I am asking why aren't the rules that existed in 2015 sufficient in this case?

You can't even begin to address that question, so you are lying about my position in order to deflect.
