It now appears the UF's head athletic master, "Fearful" Foley is now afraid the mini chomp clap the S.C. Gamecocks did during the Cocks victory this week is much too harsh for SEC standards & evidently scared him. That in addition to that tragic, near Bagdad scale dangerous, ultra-risky court rushing in Knoxville earlier this week has caused the head gator wus to rest uneasy all week. I only hope the Vanderbilt Fans this Saturday fill their pocket up with oranges (remember the contraversial Memorial Gym "Orange" call that GAVE UF a victory?) and destroy his sleep for the rest of the bb season. Go Vandy!

I suggest if this wus really wants to experience FEAR, dress his butt up in Alabama, Miss. St., UT, FSU or Miami attire & place him in the UF student section during a fb game in the dump (affectionally called the swamp by gators). NOW that my friend would expose the wus to REAL DANGER!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'd like to read what "the Wuss" had to say about this. And I'm right there with you realvol about the dump. I got to experience it in 99' and 03'.

No articles I know of. Radio reports while in FL this week indicated he had complained to SEC Office. What a surprise from the Fearless Foley puppet.

If he accepts my dare to sit in the uf student section in opponents attire I will personally contribute to that experiment. I would highly recommend he wear some type rubber suit or steel armor or BOTH to protect him from the body liquids, beer, mad dog 20-20, cheap whiskey, etc. that's freely thrown in one of the lowest class venues the NCAA can subject one to. Often in containers, but usually not.

So please let's all not do that mini gator chomp thing, it's much too scary. What a wuss...

Yeah realvol, my experience in 99' involves my favorite polo being ruined and my right index and middle knuckles getting broken. Could you explain a little more what Foley complained about. Did the USC fans just mock the gator chomp. If so that just seems like typical opposing fan stuff.

Really don't know details. I did see, but did not watch the SC / uf game. I saw the Gamecocks doing little mini chomps w hand / fingers vs the big gator chomp at the end of the game. I loved it.

I've always said the gators are all mouth & as_ neither end contains much of a brain.

I hope Vandy "oranges" the hell out of them.

Foley, what a flake.

I'm not sure why he would complain about opposing fans doing the Gator Chomp, that seems like maybe a rumor or something. There's not too much you can do about other teams fans expressing themselves in non-vulgar manners, but you guys don't realize how aggravating it is to see people doing the mock Gator Chomp :chair: :lame:

Obviously, then you have an idea of how annoying it is in the first place. :birgits_giggle: Go Vols.

the chomp. we see it ever year. the cowbell i can live with, we only hear it every so often, and usually we beat them anyway, so it's a non factor.

that chomp, has almost gotten me in to more fights than i care to remember.

both my brothers went to MSU, so i have an appreciation of it, i guess....i know if i were an Ole Miss fan, i'd hate it with a passion.

I once went to a Peach Bowl in the GA Dome with MSU playing. The sound of 20,000 cowbells inside a dome is enough to make your ears bleed.

well, you know, they could be construed as a weapon, my brother and i went to the SEC championship in 98, and he had his with him, and at one point during the game, the little dinger in the bell, flew out of the bell as he was ringing it incesantly in my ear, and it damn near killed someone about 10 rows down from us....'course, he was much quiter after that....

Hey, give me Cowbell's anyday over some rude, arrogant, unclassy, ignorant, spoiled, stupid punk uf gators throwing beer, pis-, mad dog 20-20, Southern comfort, or something else on your body or your spouses. Pure unclass....

CLANG, CLANG, CLANG, CLANG all the way.

Definition of gators: all mouth, all as_, little brains & nil class. Think about it they adore NORM SLOAN & fire Don DeVoe. Now's there's some real class.

The ONE most unclassy NCAA school ever!!!!

Well....maybe for their Southern counterparts, the U (U. of Miami) even then I'll give the FANS of UM credit. EVEN they're NOT THAT UNCLASSY.

After personally experiencing (3 times) some of the most distigusting situations I've ever imagined in a dump (affectionally called the swamp by those disturbed) both inside the stadium & outside, there are NO WORSE FANS ANYWHERE.

Hell, even the Oakland Raiders Fans are more classy that uf's. Not to mention a lot more civilized, they won't waste good beer....

yeah, i've been around some that aren't too pleasent...esp. at the games themselves.

but i've got a couple of friends that are gators, and they're OK, so long as we don't watch the game w/each other....they're not ALL bad, cause, believe it or not, more times than not, i've almost gotten in to it with more TN fans at TN games than opposing fans, but if i were ranking opposing fans only, i have definitely had more scuffles with UF fans than any other...2nd on that list would be MSU fans....they win so rarely, they don't know how to react. I was in Starkville in 94 when they beat us....i literally had to push and shove people off of me to get out of the stadium. As i was leaving, there were several students chasing me with lit lighters trying to set my car flag on fire!!! ridiculous.

I really dont like it when someone's singular bad experience leads them to generalizing traits about a fanbase. I promise we're not that bad. :hi:

I guess WE should know better than go to ho dunk towns like Goberville & Stupidville, MS. Oops, I apologize to Mississippi.

In any case it is a project to get to their freaking little towns & from my experience, DEFINITELY not worth it!

I too have a number of good yet arrogant gators & many friends & even ex-former football players that attended MSU.

Hey, win with class & lose with class. AND IN NO WAY DO I EXCUSE THE IGNORANT UT HAS. I know for a fact it is the rare case at Neyland rather than a group mission at Goberville.
