I really hope CDD holds true to his word about looking at IN-State talent. Unlike that guy that used to coach.... cant recall his name.

I'm not saying that's not true but why would he have committed because of Gran? He plays linebacker and is from Georgia. Those are both LT's areas.

A.J commited bc of Gran once he left we lost a big chance of getting him.

Really? So why did he wait until Kiffin left to decommit?

Its already been mentioned by someone close to the situation that UT is still VERY much in it and he will most likely recommit in the future but decided to decommit until he can meet and get to know the new staff.

IMO he will be a Vol in the end.

Really?

Do you think we should try to recruit our home state like Texas does?

If Dooley starts trying to sign enough TN prospects to keep people like you happy, we will be forgetting about him pretty soon, too.

This year, however, is an exception. I am hoping to get at least 5-6 of these TN guys.

That sounds more like it. I loled at the Gran comment.

This! Its fine to take the in-state guys who are 5 & 4 star rated guys but when we start taking players just because there from Tennessee then expect to only be winning 5 to 7 games a year at best!
