I guess UGA is having they're Jr. Day this weekend too...saw some of their fans whining about Jay Rome's absence from it. I REALLY hope we get him.

If I was a "dawg" I would take it as a slap in the face, that would be like Antonio R. shafting us for alabamas jr day. Rome is someone i definently want to commit to us.

Rome is all Clemson. His dad played football and basketball at Clemson and is a legend. Most realistic UGA fans already recognize Rome is a lost cause for them, so I don't know why they would be whining.

Because when talking about him, they always say he is going to Clemson. Case in point (if you have access to the RB): http://www.******************.asp?highlight=Rome&sid=880&fid=2208&tid=140427239&mid=140427239. For those of you that don't have access, a UGA fan didn't include Rome in his list of top 5 instate targets, because he is probably going to Clemson. How many times will you here a UGA fan say something like that about a kid from GA? Never, unless they know something.

I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but it's the truth.

By the looks of things Georgia is having its Jr. Day on the Tennessee campus.

The number of Georgians coming up is sick.

A win against UGA this season could go a long way in opening up that state more than it already is. I think Richt's days are numbered and most people know it. Same can be said of USCe, the east is wide open this year if they don't do something this year most people will realize they never will. Lots of talent could be swayed our way by just winning those two games and having a decent season.

Justin Hopkins, who writes for several ESPN sites and contributes here from time to time told me that Jay Rome will not make it to Tennessee due to weather.

Justin said Rome told him he wasn't coming because it's going to be snowing. I have no idea what he's referring to unless he is on vacation in Alaska. :) I don't know the context or the tone. Just passing it along. Time will tell I guess.

Many of the GA guys at Tenn this weekend, were at UGA for an earlier Jr Day.

And yes, not too many GA fans thinking Rome will come to UGA. Pretty sure the TE spot is already wrapped up though with the FL TE O'Leary, a UGA legacy.
