Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

Wouldn’t doubt it

Don't be a Nutcase.

Besides, as I've said before, my experiences with FBI agents indicate that they aren't smart enough to plant evidence. Would never hire one because they don't do well thinking outside the box.

Another funny experience is that pretty much every FBI agent I've ever met has been a Republican. The only fun part about this whole Trump deal is when I get to tease them about it being the right wing that hates them so much.

That’s what kills me about the double standard with Hillary and her servers. She obstructed an investigation and had illegal servers with state secrets in them. She’s guilty of treason.
Yes. That is exactly why people are sympathetic to Trump. The DOJ doesn't pursue everyone the same. This indictment will tear this country apart.

New Trump indictment over documents is a 'whole different ballgame,' says Jonathan Turley

If Turley says it's bad I tend to believe him. If only they would have the same vigor with investigating the democrats. Folks might feel it is not a one sided witch hunt.

Jim Jordan seems to be focused on trying that. Of course you guys put a total idiot in charge who can't find a single credible witness. But you do have multiple House investigations going on, it's just that you never seem to find factual support for your delusions. That's one of the things I don't understand. There are credible Repubs in the House, guys who could run a good tight investigation with many of them having worked in the legal system. But instead you appoint the extreme guys who run around shouting BS and proving nothing.

The worse thing for Trump was the appointment of a hard core special prosecutor in Smith. He's a true believer in the judicial process, is at the top of the pyramid as a prosecutor and knows how to run an investigation. Notice the lack of leaks from his office. You hear about what he's going to do but it's all gleaned from court filings and comments from Trump's side. Doesn't do press conferences. These are the guys that when they come after you, they get you.

So why didn't they have the same vigor when Trump was in office?

Clamoring about Clinton, Obama, Bush, Cain, or organizations he had the opportunity to do so, but did not? Did Barr/Sessions put him in check until the end? Did they not pursue anybody and could not close any deals.

Seriously, it was just easier for DJT to just throw stones at all these people stir the crap up and do nothing. He too busy playing defense and posing as the Victim was easier. His Choice as he choose not to mount an offense except thru claiming he was the Victim. The victimization stance would better serve his needs.

A total facade that worked. Trump is a victim of his own doing with self inflicted wounds. Witch Hunt really not, it is just a posse in pursuit with a pretty clear trail leading to Trump. He wants to be the Victim because beyond that he has nothing. All he is, is a Sh** Stirrer that loves power and control by Gaslighting. Not that we have not had Democrats do the same, they were just better at keeping a low profile where DJT was not nor intended it to be.

So you have no problem with the FBI stonewalling on the bribery scheme document and Jack Smith getting an indictment at light speed ? It reeks of election interference . The ends don't justify the means. A corrupt DOJ is bad for everyone.
This indictment is creating sympathy for the very person democrats are trying to get rid of. IMO if they would have left him alone he wouldn't be running. He would be at Mar A Lago playing king maker. This will tear the country apart.

I think the DOJ has been compromised for a long time. Congress holds their purse strings and the president picks their leader.

The military is the same. Way too many generals and admirals. You have go along to get ahead.

He did cooperate to a point. He did give back boxes of documents after the first request well before the raid, what was in those boxes and what he kept after that we'll probably never know but after that it became a dispute as to whether what he retained was legal for him to have or not.

"to a point"

That point was when he he instructed his lawyers to certify a legal document he knew wasn't true.

And his lawyers documented it.

Derp.

The "witch hunt" narrative won't have much to complain about when it comes to the presiding judge. Aileen Cannon was not only apppointed by Trump, she also made the ruling that a special master should review the collected material to determine if anything was the legitimate personal property of Donald Trump. It was later overturned. When the Trump team went shopping for judges ... Aileen Cannon was their pick.

Light speed? Smith was appointed Special Counsel back in November.

This will be a sh*tshow with her presiding. On the bright side for Trump, he gets her help for free.

Yeah but I kind of like it for one reason... Trump will normally attack the judge presiding over his cases as being a partisan. He can't do that with her. She's too well known for the special master ruling from last year, which was very favorable to Trump's defense.

Lots to unpack there.

That FBI document thing was ail about Executive Branch versus Legislative Branch issues, something that frequently came up when Trump was in office as well BUT it is my understanding the DOJ allowed the committee heads to see it yesterday.

Indictment at light speed: i might have agreed with you there but I read an article a week or two ago that said much of the discovery had already been done thanks to the earlier litigation and impeachments plus Smith didn't mess around and quickly assembled a large group of DOJ career professionals. I said originally, this guy is top of the pyramid. He lives to convict bad guys. He's even done war crimes which is incredibly complex.

He could resign tomorrow and would immediately be offered $1 million a year by 50 of the top firms in US. Instead he works for about $200,000 a year putting bad guys away.

Election interference? Ridiculous. Did you know that even if convicted Trump could be elected and assume the office? Then he pardons himself. His fundraising is booming this weekend and you know this just locks MAGA people onto to him even more. Plus it is pushing out anything from his primary opponents. And when they do get press it's for statements in support of Trump, except for Christie and Hutchinson, and they are both has beens.

I this this makes Trump a lock for the nomination.

After that it will all turn on whether the Repubs will be able to steal the election through all the state legislative changes they have made.

Maybe it's just my eternal optimism, but unlike with the lottery, I feel that the odds of pinning Trump continue to improve.
Can you tell me what Trump has done worse then suspected pedophilia by Joe and Hunters kiddie porn on his laptop??? You once said Trump ranked below Biden on your continuum, so wanna see where pedo rank and what Trump has done that is worse?
