Haha! Then you were'nt there and neither was he. We want to win! If Butch can understand that, that;s great. I still think he does'nt know what he's gotten himself into. You win or we'll come down on you like a ton of lead.

I wish . I was 7 in 1990 and had already been a fan for 3 years . but it does sorta feel the same win or lose I can't wait until the vols play there fun to watch again . and yes I watched the bad years to .

History repeats itself and right now to me it feels like 1977 - 1981. We are getting better but "at this moment" we are still a .500 team. We have to keep on recruiting well and get some more "Jimmy's and Joe's" on the team. GBO!

I think what the official poster meant was that tennessee will be in every game from here on out. Maybe Bama might be too much for us to handle, but this sure does feel better than the last few years. I recall most games being over at halftime. Go VOLS!

No this in no way feels like the the classic fulmer years when we were winning and Tennessee football was fun. I miss those days:(. I miss the johnny major years too

Honestly it feels like the Dooley and kitten years. Rent a coaches are a dime a dozen and have no loyalty.

There are many similarities to the early 80's in that we have also been playing an unreasonably tough out of conference schedule at a time when we were rebuilding which has hurt. In 1980 we played USC and Pitt (which was a lot like Oregon and Oklahoma are now)...I will say that following recruiting is fun again like it was in the 90's.
