A great deal.

I guess if I did it for Mal Moore, it's only fair to do do for Damon Evans. Here goes: Nolan Richardson, Chris Lowery, Danny Kaspar, Rob Evans, and Reggie Theus.

True, I think Mack would do very well there. i just think he's very comfortable at ECU. Working for Terry Holland and having a fan base that understands that rebuilding takes time isn't a bad gig.

That's why they should have fired him at the end of last season. Allowing a fluke run through the SEC Tournament to cloud their decision making caused UGA to waste yet another basketball season.

Exactly . . . He was about 3 days from getting canned last year before a couple of fluke wins and a tornado happened.

Looks like Anthony Grant is the man. Should be announced today.
That confirms what I've been hearing about Alabama setting their sights high. Grant would have taken Alabama over Georgia. That tells me the Tide are going for a sure thing.

Georgia AD said in the AJC that no offer has been made to anyone, including Grant, and that Alabama has requested permission to speak to him.

A Georgia "insider" tells me that, after the swing and miss on Anderson, the Dogs will now turn their attention back to Capel....and he says Evans may have some interest in Dugger Baucom (which I simply do not believe). Of course, this is the same Georgia insider who told me Anthony Grant was a "lock." He's like wikipedia....only occasionally accurate, but almost always entertaining.

If they hire Dugger Baucom, Damon Evans might as well go ahead and pack up the stuff in his office to save time later.

Dugger would be quite a stretch....I can just hear the Georgia fanbase collectively saying "Who?" when Evans introduces Baucom. I don't buy Evans' supposed interest in him for a minute, but thought it was amusing that he's even being rumored as a candidate.
