Ferguson Riots

So who gets to decide "who's perception matters"? (to borrow the phrase)

One groups perception is that a young man was wrongfully murdered. So they protest that murder. Even if you don't agree that he was wrongfully murdered, you should be capable of understanding this.

The other group protests the funerals of straight soldiers because they are upset with the policies put in place by a president.

You tell me which ones perception makes sense?

The 2012 version doesn't count? That bad?

Like I said, there isn't another version...

Some films should be left alone as cult classics of the time period. Imagine some chowderhead trying to remake Dr. Strangelove in today's context. It just wouldn't fit.

It's something that just can't be recreated with the same conditions as it was then. Hence, there is only one version and that's the 1984 version. And as far as I'm concerned, I'd burn and ban every copy of the 2012 version as a crime against nature and all things good with the world.

They don't give a damn about a "young man" as you say..... They just want to make a spectacle, loot and tear stuff up

Do you think he was wrongfully murdered?

I do not. But that doesn't make me incapable of seeing their perspective.

Nothing quite like the perspective of defending a worthless strong-armed robber that assaults people.

These people are just displaying their stupidity. The media needs to not cover anything there. They'll go away.
