I think the Fab 5's talent was better. But that's still a legitimate point.

the Vols are not a legitimate Final Four contender in 2010-11. a lot more potential the following season.

The next few years should have this state sending two teams deep into the tourney.

I agree. It would take a tremendous amount of off season development by returning players and incoming players for us to be a legitimate final four contender. We are still likley to be a point guard away from reaching our full potential. While we will be adequate at that position, we need a player who can distribute the ball and create for other players.

There's no reason to think that our PG play will be any worse than it was this year. I don't see that holding us back. However, I don't think we're Final Four contenders either.

I agree. We will be as good as this year, but we didn't have a point guard who could penetrate and dish this year. JP took that role on this years team. I see no one next year who can assume that role.

i like our chances next year with bruce pearl as our coach.. well have more talent in the next few years then we had for most of the year last year. tennessee is here baby! like it or not, we are a program to be reckoned with. this comes with expectations. we should not expect any less than another elite 8 run.. not saying its gonna happen just like that every year, but we should admit that its gonna be a possibility for years to come.

We will have a hard time replacing Chism and Prince. Hopefully, Harris is the real deal and will lead this team next year as a freshman.

With predicting the 2008-2009 season would turn out great and 2009-2010 season would turn out horrible, I am done predicting how the season will turn out. I no longer care until November.

There was no real reason to think last season would be horrible, but it turned out better than most expected.
