Final Four

I hope Pearl wins, then comes back to coach at Tennessee for 15 years, wins 3 more titles here, and gets a statue outside TBA. Assuming Barnes retires, who I love

Will we ever make a final four? Seems like no matter what we do we always find our moment when we can’t hit the broad side of a barn when we simultaneously run into the hottest team in the country.

Sadly March Madness is such a crap shoot.

It is like golf. My Dad is an excellent golfer but never got a hole-in-one. There are people that rarely play that have gotten hole-in-ones out of luck. Does that make them better golfers?

Xavier and Creighton were two other names they brought up about not making a Final Four but people would consider them to be good programs. Gonzaga had issues for a long time as well making FF. They only broke through recently after making tournaments 20-30 times.

It can be infuriating when you have teams like Florida Atlantic, VCU, George Mason, Miss State, etc. that just have these one-off runs out of no where and make it.

Not sure about that analogy with a hole-in-one🤣

You can be a below average golfer and make a hole-in-one. You can't be a below average team and win the NCAA tournament

Somewhat happy for Pearl possibly, but Baker-Mazara just flopped again while I was posting this and I'm just not there for it.
And Broome acted like a spoiled child for the 23rd time today. He and CBM are reflections of their coach.

Interesting…I figured many here would be happy for Pearl.

I would if we didn't have Pearl True Disciples.

Honestly if Pearl had gone to any other non SEC school besides Memphis I would probably not care as much. But he went to an SEC team and one that hasn't won a championship. So sorry but nope.

I must admit the selection committee got it right. All four 1 seeds made it to the final 4 and 3/4 two seeds made it to the elite 8. Maybe next year I will have to pay attention to their selections. 🤑

Let me see if I have this right.
We want Houston to win because they beat us?
😉

I would go with Auburn, Houston,Duke,Florida! Don't want Fla to win anything.
Texas Tech had Florida beat in their elite 8 game. Up 11 under 4 minutes and sh*t their pants. Got completely away from their game plan because they were up so much and started playing scared,

Florida can be had by any of the other 3 teams left

I'll be more than happy to sell your dad one of mine. I have 5 to my credit and none of them have been lucky bad shots but I have been playing for 54 years

Yeah you can (well make FF not win), see George Mason, VCU, Florida Atlantic, etc.
None of those teams won the national championship nor were any of them below average teams

Was trying to be a little diplomatic with the first response, but I will say now it was a dumb analogy. Sorry, but you had to double down on it

I've witnessed a couple of hole-in-ones from players who couldn't break 90 at an easy course

You have 8-11 seeds that didn't finish in the top half of their leagues that have made Final Fours, I think it sticks.

I came two feet from a hole in one two years ago and I’ve never broken 90 in my life.
