It seems we’ve got a little momentum going on the trail here the past week or so. I think we’re up to 20th in 247 rankings. Where do you all see us ending up? I say we might break top 15.

Somewhere between 12 and 15. I do think we will finish strong and best case end up right at top 10. I think 12-13th is likely and a great finish for this year. I think in 2023 we will have our highest ranked class in a long time. I think next year we flirt with top 5. Somewhere from 3-8 range especially if we win our share next year and show continued improvement. GBO!!! And we are currently 18th on 247.

We are really only 34th in recruit average so the stat you’re referencing is flawed due to the uneven number of recruits committed by each team. You should hope we can finish in the top 20 but we are far behind that actual number right now.

Not every school will take 25. Good chance to finish top 20 for sure

We close strong and commits get bumps in rankings. I’d bet top 15 hoping for top 12.

Ive never gone fishing with the man, but the word is that Drink is really good with the parents and is probably a better recruiter than even what the rankings indicate.

I do not see KY kitty cats hanging on to there top O-line commit. He has been looking around and I see him as a flip to the tide or dawgs. But they still have more 4 star recruits then I can remember them ever having. They have even plucked a few from our own back yard thanks to the previous staffs lack of effort to recruit in state. I believe the current staff will put more effort into the state and stop some of these getting away from the VOLS!

Just like this picture, some recruits need to understand when they are looking at programs like KY and MO that they seeing ceilings and not floors.

Ehh oh well. Never have cared a lot for all these next genstats that are thrown around nowadays

#1 The average per recruit is misleading as the official rank is. That would put a school like Florida in the Top 40, and they are currently ranked 77th and aren’t going to climb much higher until after early signing period. Plus you can’t really project what will happen in a class like that since they only have 7 commits.

#2 The. composite ratings are nice to get a grip on where you are at, but ultimately none of it matters because each evaluating service rates our players differently.

According to 247 recruiting ratings we have 5 4 star players signed. According to On3 we have 7 4 star players signed.

We have the 17th rated class on 247 non composite rating, and the 20th class according to on3. On Rivals we have the 19th rated class, but only 3 4 star players.

Then you have ESPN included in the composite, who have us ranked 31st, with 4 4 star players signed. ESPN recruiting rankings freaking suck. They have for years. Even Scout was better than them.

The average is just as misleading. It will all even out when everybody is done. The fact is on 247 we are18th and the rivals 20th. And things will adjust out at the finish. I stand by my thinking somewhere between 10-15th probably around 12-13th and 4th in sec.
