But the point is still valid..How can anybody expect college kids to be in top shape if the example you set is the exact opposite??..Name any TOP college coach who appears terribly out of shape..

Fulmer wasn't exactly trim while Dooley was active even with a freaking gimpy hip. Two different "example-setters" I guess, two completely different results as coaches. Weight is irrelevant. Like this thread...and my opinion. Good heavens, I must be bored...ilot:

If anyone is goin' to the store, I'll take some sour cream and onion chips, dip, some beef jerky, penut butter, Haagen Dazs ice cream bars, chocolate, lots of chocolate, popcorn, graham crackers, get some marshmallows and we'll make smoores man, celery, grape jelly, Captn Crunch with crunchberries, 2 big supreme pizzas, Water, a whole lot of water and funions. Definitely a thread I question why I opened it.

Maybe because you suspect that something as stupid as the title of this thread will invite some hysterical exchanges and you want to see exactly how the dumb guy will finally be left naked and publicly humiliated.
By the way, the urge to watch this and enjoy it is probably not something to be proud off and you are on the right path by questioning yourself.

What is not understood about what I said?? I never said you have to be in great physical shape to be successful as a coach..I said it was nice to finally have a trio of coaches who actually practice what they preach concerning fitness.. IMO it's hypocritical for an out of shape coach to preach to their players about being in top physical shape..It is a valid point..I never said a fat coach couldn't win, but setting an example by being in shape is good to finally see...Wow what a mess over a thread started for fun!!
