Oklavol, the only players that I've mentioned that HAVEN'T played this year are hurt. Namely Crompton and McCoy.

The one that hasn't been a starter, Mayo, is likely to be at least as good as Mitchell or Gaither by next year. Gaither wasn't a starter last year, if you recall.

I'm just trying to point out to you that the sky isn't falling. This is college football, players can only be on a team for 5 years (play for 4)... players leave every year, and others take their place. Nearly as many senior starters that you have mentioned that are leaving, we have freshmen starting already. These guys will only be better next year.

On the lines... I can just hope and pray that they will be good. You never know, the new OL may play better as a whole than the current one, and Chavis always seems to just reload on the DL.

Who knows, maybe losing those starters will do us some good. On the offensive side that is.

Chavis is not the right head coach for UT. He is a very good defensive coordinator (except 3rd and long) but he is not a strong recruiter. Chavis is like Woody in many respects.

I sincerely hope he stays at UT but I would not blame him if he wanted to go elsewhere to test the waters. He ain't getting any younger.

Our defense has been the only bright spot in this season but I think they are close to mailing it in and who can blame them?

The DC is the one that misses tackles on 3rd and long? Who knew? Joking aside you're right, the D gives up too many 3rd and longs, and playcalling MAY have SOMETHING to do with it... either way, his D is not what I'm worried about.

fulmer is to blame.  he has had every chance to get rid of sanders and he still supports him.  i said we would finish 6-5,  i also said we would lose to SC,  some of you laughed at me which is fine.  if fulmer stays we will finish 6-5 next year and 4-7 the year after that.  HE IS NOT A GOOD COACH.

We haven't finished 6-5 yet...
