It's not that. Coming to his defense any time his name is mentioned negatively is what gets the attention.

Seems like if everybody thinks he sucks that they would be glad he left instead of pissed off.

he sucks for leaving the team I cheer for in a bad spot. The reasons why don't mean anything

I understand you don't fault him for leaving. I really don't either but I understand completely why fans would hate him for screwing us over, whether he was in the right or not.

Nick saban has just somehow topped fulmers terrible 99 season. I did not think he could do it.

You must have forgotten Saban's last year at LSU, right after his title there. They went 9-3.

A lot of things have to go right to win a championship. Change a few plays in Tennessee's 1999 season, disappointing as it may have been, and we might have been right back up there again. If Jamal cuts outside against UF and Tee doesn't throw that pick six vs. Arky, we're undefeated. Then we never see Nebraska in a bowl game, and we matched up a lot better with FSU than with the Huskers.

If a coach at UT had led 24-0 in game to a bitter rival and lost, how bad do you think fans and the media would rip HIM???

Let's see probably not so much if you had won the nc the year before, 12-0 regular season the year before and have a #2 recruiting class going into 2011, but the media has to fill the show, but fans should look at the shape of Texas this year and think where they were last year, 33-3 over the last 3 years , would you rip a coach over that?

I see your point, but if it were UT the Negavols would have the coach tarred and feathered...That is my point

Its not really ripping him. Just pointing out the obvious. He gets the praise for the good, and called out on the bad.

Seems fair to me.

Bama this year reminds me of our 99' team after the NC.

Come back loaded, and lose multiple games.

Fulmer got credit for the NC (by most).
And he got ripped for the next season.

Bama offense maybe, but not the defense, lots of youth on defense -

I agree.

But no different than our O this year (starting 5, and playing up to 6 or 7 FR at the same time) the last month of the season I don't look at em like freshman. They have SO experience by then.

Young but absolutely loaded with talent.

Offense returns an undefeated QB, Heisman trophy winner, the best backup RB in the country, Julio Jones, Maze, etc. and a strong OL.

9-3 is a disappointment and they choked that game away today. Still the best coach in the country IMO, just sayin.

Disappointing, but au has come back on teams like this all year, need every point you can get during the game, most people fail to realize that au has about 22 seniors this year and are a good team with a qb who can run that offense, what will they have next year when one and done cam is gone, until you have experienced the iron bowl you have no idea what emotions mean in this game. Alabama Ut is a rival, but nothing like this game.

Bama is more talented than Auburn and was up 24-0 at home. Should not have lost, period.

Agree, but au is a good team, they wouldn't be 12-0 if they weren't. The players who went on the the NFL from last year's team seemed to add that extra spark and leadership that this team hasn't seemed to ever get.

Choke job was a choke job. Accept it and move on to beating some Big 10 team in January.
