Gave me chills to watch! I was really young when Reggie was playing at UT, so don't exactly remember seeing him, but know that I did. I remember when he built his house down the road a few miles from where I lived back in the late 80's. It was the biggest house I had ever seen, still remember the images of it being built!!

I get a bit tired of all the criticism directed at Dan McCullers. The kid has anchored the most productive part of our defense and that is the interior. No one has had any success running against our interior this year. Has he made a significant number of tackles? No. but as he occupies multiple linemen to block him it allows for our linebackers to make plays and move unhindered across the field. And as for the notion that he has no motor... Take your AZZ out and push two three hundred pound offensive lineman around for 50 or 60 plays in late summer heat. This has got to be another example of someone who has never been there, done that cracking on a kid giving his all for UT. BTW- I have a special affinity for D-linemen. They do all the heavy lifting for the defense so that linebackers can do they thang! :peace2:

We'll see how successful Georgia and Alabama and South Carolina are against our "dominant" front. I think they will chew us up and spit us out again this year just like last year. Dan is soft and without a motor to push or drive. Keep telling yourself he is a stud; we'll let the stats speak. The fact the d-line may be the best part of our D is just a sad reality of where this D is.

I saw Reggie White in West Towne Mall not too long after he retired from playing. It was around Christmas time and he was carrying alot of bags like they were nothing. I remember thinking holy crap he's a big ass man and no wonder no one could stop him.
