I support opening up the border. The fact that the executor of American law has an illegal relative here is indicative of the way the country is run.

To some degree. No because she was a judge and he's the freaking POTUS, and no because she was paying her housekeeper. Obama's is a sin of omission. He's turning a blind eye. Hers is a sin of commission.

You think that the POTUS is supposed to, or even has the power to, direct that a certain person be deported? If he did that, he'd have people claiming he's misusing his post to get rid of a relative he doesn't like.

Actually, with the likes of Trump, Limbaugh, Hannity, and Fox, the accusation would be that the uncle "knows too much" and so Obama is trying to get him thrown out of the country before he spills the beans.

Let's face facts here. The issue has come back up because the guy got on the local radar screen after a DUI charge and making the comment that he would call the WH to try to raise bail money. Obama has no power over this man or his issues and would not and could not do anything about it.

Guys like Breitbart are happy to report on it, yet again, even though it has no import, yet again, because, yet again, they get to imply that Obama is more Kenyan than American.

THAT is what this is about.

To me it's a challenge to rule of law (in my opinion rule of law is 2nd only to freedom). If the president can't even get his family to respect the law...

I'm not saying impeach him. All I'm saying is the president doesn't care about rule of law, and this is just one more bit of support for that opinion.

BTW, I don't agree with Breitbart all the time, but in my mind, he's established himself as someone interested in digging up meaningful dirt (which is why I'd be surprised to find he is a birther).

If it was his sister or daughter, okay, but an uncle? I really think you are betraying your partisanship claiming this has to do with the president respecting "the rule of law." As far as POTUS is involved in this, its simply not there and you are way, way, WAY overclaiming it.

I might be able to better respond if I even knew what this word meant. I think it's only used as a patenting term.

The president doesn't respect rule of law. There are a lot of examples. This being the least among them.

No one ever gives any credit to our community organizer in chief's illegal work (it is against the law for a sitting senator to interfere in the internal politics of any other nation) in Kenya which resulted in thousands of deaths, tens of thousands of destroyed homes, businesses and churches and hundreds of thousands of displaced refugees but it did get Barry's cousin the postition of Prime Minister and eventually the enactment of the enfranchisement of islamic sharia law in Kenyan courts.

Sure it does, all I was doing was comparing. Both really didn't/don't want to do much about it, but for different reasons.

Neither have or will do much to fix it either IMO.

Another thing concerning an Obama relative done on
the quiet.

Don't have a link and don't remember the whole story
but one of Barry's half brothers (don't know if he is
here legally or not, probably not,) was running some
sort of tax free charity even though he had never
requested tax free status.

Some watchdog group kept complaining to the IRS and
guess what, brother applied and the Irs granted tax
free status, retroactive to the time he first
started his scam.
