I have never been a Vol fan who wants Tennessee to run up the score on a team but I believe we need to pour it on the next 3 games to make a stronger case for the playoffs!!

That is the reason Im pulling for Ohio St to beat Michigan badly, put them out of the picture completely!
I agree with you about hoping Ohio State wins big. If it’s a close game either way (and especially if Michigan wins), there will be a BIG push to put both teams in the playoff. Too many people are taking it for granted that a loss will eliminate one of them. If it’s a close game, just watch what happens. I’d like to think the committee will be unbiased but I firmly believe there will be all sorts of pressure to “spread the wealth” and have only one SEC team in the playoff. Hope I’m wrong.

Eh ... I live in Baton Rouge, so I need for these LSU fans to hush their mouths by losing to Georgia worse than we did, though I do want them to at least get to that game, thereby keeping Bama and Ole Miss out of it.

All of these threads have a common theme which is somewhat bothersome to me and that is the presumption that we win all of our remaining games. All of these scenarios make little difference if we do not take care of business. I fully expect this team to succeed but the next three weeks will let us all know both the quality and character of this team.
Our 3 remaining opponents are pretty bad. If we lose to any of them we should be grateful for whatever bowl we get.

We just need this to be a one sided victory. Doesn’t matter which one wins, as long as it’s ugly it helps UT.
Yes, we want either Mich or TOSU to beat the other by at least 14 points.
Since it’s in Columbus, you would expect TOSU to win.
