First Injury report for Georgia shows Nico - Questionable

Feel like this isn’t likely to change before the game. Heupel has an affinity for keeping injuries under wraps, so even if he is likely to play he’s got a perfect opportunity to try and muddy the waters for Kirby’s game plan.

I think he plays but Heupel is not going to let anyone know definitively.

Edit: referring to Nico in this post.

It would appear so! Big news for our D-line. They could use the help.
He’s been one of our best run defenders and might be our best well-rounded lineman this year. Knew he was gonna have a big year when we saw him last year chasing down RBs in the 2nd and 3rd level of the defense from the opposite side. Kid has a really high motor and having him this Saturday is huge.

Yes it is. I wonder if it’s a coincidence that our rush defense has sucked lemons since he’s been out? He’s not played since the Bama game. Hoping big guy shows up in Athens to let everyone know he’s still around.

My bet would be that they just don’t know yet, and if they don’t know by now I’m not expecting him to play. As much as I want him to play I want him to get healthy. If he has to set to get fully healthy then that’s what he should do.

The way it usually works is how well he practiced on Thursday but it could be a game time decision.
