If I knew the secret to that I wouldn’t be 61 years old, single and the father of a 9 year old I can’t even get my 9 year old to take my advice. When we left TBA on Sunday and were making our way back to the parking garage, the wind was blowing and snow flurries were flying, my daughter looks at the parking garage across the street and says “why didn’t you park here”. I took the opportunity to give her a lesson in economics and the importance of making good decisions while in school maybe we can add that to our book!

Love it! This generation of kids are so smart yet lack the intelligence of a Yak. They cannot accept any form of correction and feedback without experiencing high levels of anxiety. They are so casual with no respect for authority figures. And we raised our kids on a farm with responsibilities and consequences. Sixteen year old is out of school for winter break. She got up this morning to help me in chicken houses. But only because I did not make it optional. I would hate to be coach today. Very few have the discipline and motivation to be great.
