A win would allay some valid concerns that fans have about the in-game coaching ability of this staff. The effort and the statistics of the Georgia were fine, but it was still a loss. Next to Georgia and Western Kentucky, the other 4 games this season weren't at that level expected of Tennessee football.

There's been nothing wrong with the in game decisions. When the teaM (particularly QB and WR) start perfoming well you have seen what appears to be great playcalling and adjustments. Look at the Ol Ball Coach and how he didn't have instant success and SC.

Yeah, the coaching sucked all game. Going 3-3 on 4th down and out scheming Murray is hard evidence of that.

Jeeeeeeeez. The half before Georgia and the first half of the Georgia game sucked. 2 of the last 3 halves. Anyone wanna argue that?

Yeah, when a "team" has a new coaching staff, different players from previous teams and new schemes it takes a minute for the offense and defense to jell. When that jelling process starts to come together you should see exponential improvement in the overall product.

Fine. But, if we take a huge step backwards and get blown out by USC, we will be almost 20% through the 3 years, maximum, that we should allow this coach to produce a real and marketable win against a highly ranked opponent.

Crazy talk from a senile old man.
