I agree for sure. if you go to Clearwater, my favorite spot there is the Sandpearl Resort. If you don't stay there , head to their beach bar to watch the sunset with the Adirondack chairs and firepit.For an extra hour’s drive you can visit the nicer west coast beaches (St. Pete, Clearwater, etc).
Definitely make a long weekend out of it.

Other than throwing piss I honestly enjoy the belligerence. Florida in my opinion has lost a lot of that redneck aggression that they used to have.
I was very surprised with our students this year. They actually did a damn good job.That 90s Swamp atmosphere, for better and most definitely for worse, is gone forever. Primarily because SEC outlawed pass outs, which allowed students to leave at halftime, run across University Ave to get a drink (or several), then return for the second half.
Nowadays our students can’t be bothered to show up in time for kickoff.
