oh man, I don't even remember. I want to say it was some bad non-con team in 2001 or 2002, maybe WCU

If of course you mean first game you attended

1967 Volunteer Classic Finals - Tennessee vs. Tulsa.

That was a Ron Widby, Bill Justus team. Don't remember a lot about the Tennessee game, but I do remember the third place game distinctly. Army was in it, coached by a young Bob Knight. He reacted so vigorously to a call, that his watch flew off his arm and shattered on the floor. It took a few minutes to sweep up the watch pieces and resume the game.

Sometime in the 70's - Ernie and Bernie show, and I've had way too many beers since to even possibly remember who we were playing.

When we played USCe and Chism dropped his career high 30 pts. I forget the year though.

1972 at Stokely. Tennessee beat Temple 11-6 in what I think still holds the record for the lowest scoring game in DI basketball. Temple held the ball most of the game and Ray Mears stayed in a zone defense. Had to be there to believe it

It was back during Wade's time...probably 91 or so.

I think they were playing ETSU or somebody like that. All I really remember was kids got free basketball shorts. Those things were awesome...made by Sports Belle and everything.

My 1st one was 2008/09 Florida at home. It was the first Outlive game. The place was rocking that night. We won in grand fashion.

Beating Vanderbilt will not be a "Big Win". If it is the "Big Win" for this team, this season will officially have SUCKED.

Im not seeing anyone else we have a chance at surprising, do you? We arent going to beat KY, or Georgetown or Xavier, or even Mizzou....who would you consider a quality win then? Vanderbilt may not be ranked right now, but they are always good, and winning at their place is no easy task for anyone, so winning on the road would be surprising. And yea I don't see this team going out there and being a single digit loss team, not enough big man depth.
