My guess is Fisher knows he needs to be in the SEC.

Fisher is way underpaid at Fl St. he is making Dooley money. There are also rumors that he doesn't like the administration.

We could get him to come to UT

with the new sports complex that was built at UT , it looks like its the state of the art fitness center and weight room, this alone i thought would bring talent i figuered new coaches would jump at the chance to coach the vols, I guess I was wrong, really just don't see the big hire or the big name needed to get us back on top. There must be somthing else going on behind close doors that we the fans just don't see that bigger name coaches just don't want to deal with...

I like both---of course with Gundy we'd need to see a good DC with him--with our resources that should be possible.

I got it that 6 million that we was throwing at Gruden take it and give Gundy 3 million and give the other 3 million to Chavis there your go. GO VOLS

1) Strong had the 22 class in the country last year at Louisville. He also was a recruiting monster at UF. So everybody can shut up about that. 2) Gundy came within an overtime of playing for the NC and beat Stanford/ Andrew Luck in a bowl game......I seriously spend time praying that the level of coach we get isn't proportionate to the intelligence level of this fan base. Jesus.

I haven't heard anything mentioned about Jim Mora Jr in awhile. Is there no interest in that direction?

Would be a little hypocritical for us to pursue a coach who had only been at a school for one year after the stink some people around here raised about LK

You are probably right although there are rumors about Hart interviewing Fedora.

Slow down. Any candidate that takes the time to interview is realistic. I like Strong a lot but let Hart go through the process and pick the right one. Thats why we pay him

Okay so it seems like Hart is putting the job in these 3 guys: Fisher, Gundy and Strong. They are all getting interviews and we haven't really heard much other than that. I would be pretty happy with any of those hires, still would like to pull a grand slam out of the hat though.
