I usually never start a thread like this. Mine are usually sarcastic rebuttals to such.

However, it was rumored that the new USC AD, Pat Haden, does not like Kiffin and the way he conducts business.

The scenario I see is if Fisher is not picked up by another NFL team before the USC sanctions are up, then as soon as the sanctions are over, then I could see Haden offering the job to Fisher.

He was offered before, but turned it down. Maybe because he loved the Titans or more possible that he wouldnt go due to the sanctions.

Fisher is also a USC alum and would be a guy that would clean up the USC cheating machine.

What say you?

He supposedly turned them down before Kiffin last year.

I think Fisher is an NFL guy. Not sure if he'll coach in 2011, but he'll be back on the sidelines in 2012.

so Fisher to USC in 2014?

Kiffin's strategy to oversign this year will limit total scholarships in 2012, 13, 14 to 75 total and max signing classes of 15

Curious, considering Haden headed -and gave the final endorsement of - the committee to bring Kiffin to LA.

Secondly, Fischer will do television for a year, and then command more than Harbaugh got from the 49ers.

Maybe Haden thought he would get by with Kiffin until the sanctions were over and get another coach at that time.

I dont know. Just throwing out a scenario to see what you guys thought

Plus, I would love to see Kiffy used like an old tampon and thrown out on his ass.

1. Fisher will get another NFL job.

2. Haden is not looking for a reason to fire Kiffin. As Tenacious said, he actually played a key role in getting Kiffin to USC.

What coach, as high in demand as Fisher, would want the USC job anytime soon?

He'll be back on an NFL sideline in no time.

I fully expect Adams to eff this up. He'll make Hamilton's hiring of Dooley look like Lombardi. Oh well, at least I finally got around to getting to a game at LP Field, albeit it was the Music City Bowl.

I agree completely. Ole Bud is one of if not the worst owners in football.

nope, the guy's going to most likely going to wait a year and take the next NFL job (he'll get offers)

There's also a big mess for a school that would come from firing a coach after you hired him a year ago, as much as people here would like to see something like that happen with kiffin

Fisher will most likely be on an NFL in no time...Wish it was with my Dolphins but the owner is an idiot.

Why don't you buy a team, and show us how it's done.

Here's how it went before -- 'Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers, they're the best team in the Land!"

Adams is all about profit and no fire in his belly for Superbowls. Nashville is being taken for a ride here every year. Take it from a Buccaneer fan with one of his like - Culverhouse - who was also greedy.

Haven't you heard? Fisher would coach tomorrow in the NFL if he wants. Someone who is that sought after would not settle for a college position.
