I usually never start a thread like this. Mine are usually sarcastic rebuttals to such.
However, it was rumored that the new USC AD, Pat Haden, does not like Kiffin and the way he conducts business.
The scenario I see is if Fisher is not picked up by another NFL team before the USC sanctions are up, then as soon as the sanctions are over, then I could see Haden offering the job to Fisher.
He was offered before, but turned it down. Maybe because he loved the Titans or more possible that he wouldnt go due to the sanctions.
Fisher is also a USC alum and would be a guy that would clean up the USC cheating machine.
What say you?
I will give you the 3 answers that are linked.
1) He would never spend the amount of attention needed for collegiate coaching.
2) He will wait to see the Philadelphia Eagles situation. Andy Reid is the longest tenure coach, but looked like crap the last cpl games including the playoffs, so if he is fired after 2011 then that is a done deal.
3) He is making 8 million dollars next year. More than enough money to go watch Brandon and Trent play games and that is that for the next year. NO USC in that answer at all.
