Briles. My point is that we knew within a few hours other people were interviewed today. There’s been no actively with mark richards, one of the top players in this class, for a while now. We’d have heard something—anything—otherwise.

I'm not arguing with you lol. It was a joke and didn't consider it would be taken seriously. This isn't a normal coaching search though. At least that I can think of. My #1 is Briles at this point. Are you saying he has had a second interview?

I didn't think it could be Freeze since he took a job, and it seemed to be over at the beginning of the week. Thought AV said someone had 2nd interview. We know Briles interviewed today. Then the next post sounded like more than 1 interview today, but it may just be the pain meds for the root canal I got today lol. Most would assume Enos or Drinkowitz since they have been listed. You don't think Yurcich?

If I remember correctly, nobody was thinking about Anthony Harris for a long time till the day he announced when ATL VOL or someone came in and told us to watch out for him. It's very, very rare, but it can happen. I don't think that's the case here, but there have been instances.

Good friend of mine is a HS coach in the Palm Beach county area and is close with Richards. He says its down to UT, Auburn and Penn St. He doesn't think Auburn has a real chance with the coaching turmoil going on. He claims it's really between us and PSU. with that said he feels that PSu has a slight lead but that Pruitt and staff are really putting the pressure on. Curt Maggitt is also in his ear about how good UT is. Take this for what its worth

I just don't see anyone not visiting signing with us. I live a mile or so from where he goes to HS and both my kids graduated from there in the last couple years... His older brother had great potential but had to quit because of a neck injury. Local recruiting rags also says it between us and PSU and gives PSU the edge...

I think we had at least one guy commit and maybe sign last year site unseen, DWA. might have been others.
