Absolutely worth it. Is it me or are we offering a LOT of football players the chance to play both bball and football?
Chances are, if they have the athleticism and instrinsics that Pruitt wants, then Barnes will love them too. And they don't count against Barnes number of Schollys. There's zero risk to letting them do both. Especially if they are talented enough.
Football overrides all the other sports. So, if u play football and basketball or baseball, it always counts towards the football scholarshipSo can y'all explain to me exactly how the scholarship situation works for bball and football? If say, Beckman, a 2020 football scholarship player, plays basketball and football this year for Tennessee, is he taking up any spots on the basketball roster? Or is it like we get him for free on the basketball team with no scholarship taken because he already plays football?
Basically what I mean is, is it not a very big added asset to the basketball team if we have all these guys playing both sports with no loss of basketball scholarship spots?
Always been a little confused on that.
