'19 FL DE Khris Bogle (UF signee)

Why do people think he flips from Bama? Did he say something to that effect? Or is it just speculation because of the staff shake up?

The staff shake up and he tweeted something cryptic that made it seem that he is confused about what’s next after Tosh moved to Browns.

This is a floating number several times it has been explained that we have 25 by some weird equation or some fact...cannot find which thread it is in but more that likely it floats in the Recruiting thread of this Forum.

We basically have room for 4 players, 3 if Solomon hits the 2019 class. It sounds like they are pushing him out to the 2020 class so we have 4 total spots left.

No way we hit 25 unless there are some back counts towards last class possible.

Cuz Chryst and Madre London counted forward against this class.
I think the number is 24 or 25. There are some weird rules about players leaving the roster within 2 years not counting, which opens up backcounts. Antonutti retiring gave us another. Others leaving have done the same thing. Pruitt said 25 at halftime of the Alabama game and I think he meant it. Solomon may count against that, though, which means 24.

Regardless, if To'oto'o, Pickens, Wright, and Bogle all want to sign with Tennessee, they will.

Are we still pursuing a waiver for Solomon? Does his eligibility to play relate in any way to which class(es) he's eligible to be counted towards?

From everything I have read it sounds like they are trying to get him on the 2020 list since he didn't take an official visit here. I dont think anyone knows for sure and likely wont until the season starts. Gibbs on the other hand did take an official so he does take a 19 spot, at least thats whats been reported.

Because he is really fast and we have no speed. How is that hard to understand?
Agree, We don't take him unless he is thoroughly evaluated by the staff and know what they are getting....Fans are treating Means like a plug in vs an evaluated and approved take.
This Kid could be a diamond in the Rough....he may not be...
He is not a take for just the sake of taking. Staff evaluated and Staff Approved and Sealed the deal....
Fans are treating this kid like a Hey You pickup in a bar.

Agreed. What people aren’t paying attention to is that his recruiting picked up quickly once colleges saw his talent. Plus he has speed and while you can coach speed to an extent you can’t coach his speed.

I guess I'm not saying "don't take him". I'm just wondering why pull the trigger in December. Were they a little scared off by what the kid did to them last Feb when he jumped to FSU?

My reasoning is, he probably would wait, and "what if" you have to turn away a Bogle if he decides to come at the last second (which he can't seem to make up his mind) but have to turn him away because you took Means instead.

Just speculation on my part.

Obviously there is a very good reason why they took Means...they really love him and now they don't have to try and win a battle for another WR since there aren't any out there we have a shot at anyway. Bogle is a flake and I for one am happy he is someone else's problem.

It looks to me like Russell is taking a spot that Bogle could have. That being said if Bogle committed to Bama why do people think he is going to come to UT? Seems like the coaches either one told him he didn’t have a spot and stopped recruiting him or two he just didn’t want to go to UT.

In the Recruiting Chat on 247, both RC and Ramey said TN had backed off Bogle, and will not pursue any further.

I dunno. I thought someone said he waffled before he picked because he was unsure of weather Tosh would still be at Bama. I agree he seems to be a primadonna flaky type. Seems to be a good prospect that UT could use earlier (rather than later like at Bama).

Maybe we shouldn't of backed off this guy with all the swings and misses at the linebacker position.
