I think he’s UT’s to lose at this point. Good player, would be a good pickup for UT.

No idea why he and Florida have cooled again, this entire recruitment has been hot and cold between the two. Originally committed to UF, decommits and commits to FSU, decommits FSU while on an official visit to UF, so it’s all over the place. I’ve heard the rumors that he weighed 195lbs when on campus at Florida which gave Florida some pause, I’ve also heard that UF likes Donell Harris more, same position but much better size (6’6” 220 lbs). Or maybe it’s because Jospeh just likes UT better, or maybe a bit of all the above.

At any rate, good get if he ends up a Vol.

I'm told Tennessee is the most likely landing place for former FSU commit Morven Joseph. I've put in my pick to reflect it and feel good about it. He had a nice senior season from a production standpoint. And while I don't think he's a play-right-away guy because of his lack of college-ready size among other things, I think he could really help the Vols down the road.


Joseph will be signing during next week's early signing period.

Yeah the weight is a big risk if he truly is 195. Who knows if he can keep the same quickness athleticism playing at 230-240

If he turns out to be underweight for DE then would he be an ideal candidate for OLB ?

Pruitt generally has guys between 240 and 260 in that role.

At 3-4 DE? 280...and that’s going light. Edge players range from 230 up ideally...so I wouldn’t go with interchangeable.
