'20 FL DE Morven Joseph (UT SIGNEE)

Ron Swanson for the win....
Some just want to btch and moan no matter what. Currently sitting 10th on rivals at the present, about to add 4star Joseph and 3-4 others in February, could very well end up 8-12th when its over. The difference between 5-15th isn't much when you really look at it. But again, the Nega's want to complain, just let them, ignore them. This is a great class, especially when you consider we started 1-4. And our staff will develop these kids better than just about any other staff in the country.

Eff the whiners, complainers, negas if they can't enjoy today. Bunch of losers if you ask me.

Here is all I got to say to the bee atches....

I’m not sure the gap between 4-10 is as wide as people are making it out to be.

Now the gap from Clemson/LSU to everyone else might be wider.
of course you would like to be at the top in the sec but middle of the pack at 6-7 is the difference in one or 2 players. About what you would expect from a rebuilding 7-5 team, give it time

It's not basketball. It's mostly about the East.

Will finish 3rd. We seem to swap 2nd with UF every other year. UGA obviously well ahead.

What sucks is uga way ahead in crootin and UF is probably the best at scheming and development. What is our competitive advantage?

As many know, I am not a Pruitt apologist, but I would take 15th rated Pruitt class any day over a Jones 5th rated class. Lot more potential.

😂You been pumping shine about this staff etc., for a month. Until all the "realists" showed up near ESD
You just gauge the temp of the room before you post?

Better than the classes that Clemson built their 2016 championship team on. Evaluation, development, team composition, and coaching are also moderately important things.

This...this x 1000....for the first time maybe ever I honestly believe we have a staff that can succeed with a class consistently in the 10-15 range...I no longer feel like our only chance is to “out talent” the teams we play

That's the issue. Add in Bama and we are behind UGA, Bama, and FL who we play every year. That's 3 games where we are heavy underdogs we would have to luck into winning every season.

The only way to catch up is a Heisman quality QB and a few top 5-10ish classes. This class is solid but does little to close the gap to those 3 teams, unless HB turns out to be elite.
Why are you here? You bring absolutely nothing of value other than just bitching.

Bread of cornmeal baked in iron. Iron sharpens cornbread. Boom.

I don't look at the 7-5 record or Pruitt's 12-12 record.... Year 3 is when he needs to wins some games. Essentially 8-4 is the absolute minimum. I actually think we upset OU and make the UF/Bama games a toss up if Tua isn't back. Not sure what UF's plans are with QB.

Cat, I understand your point. And yeah, it does seem like it's hard to catch up when according to the sites, it seems we are still behind Georgia, Florida, and Bama. And we are. And will be for at least another year.

However, keep in mind that there are so many factors that you can't predict. The rankings are subjective results of the thinking of guys who, if they were truly great at evaluating talent, would be making a WHOLE lot more money on a collegiate or professional staff. Their opinions do not account how a kid will listen, how coachable he is, how well he fits in a system, or how well he will develop.

Yes, Bama, Georgia and Florida recruited some high level guys. And they'll develop and be good.

But who is to say that we cant develop our talented guys to be just as good in our system, and that we cant beat them on the field?

I know there isnt 5* players to point to in this class. But, I have yet to see anything that tells me that Pruitt cannot evaluate or develop talent.

We may not catch up in Rivals eyes, but I think within this class's 4 years here, we will beat Florida, Georgia and Bama.

It's a very good class. Great might be a little strong IMO. Of course, we will really see in a couple of years how they pan out

Didn't think so. You know I am correct and you won't admit it.
You correctly always find what could possibly be the most negative in any situation and focus on it which makes people wonder if you're really that way in real life or just a troll. Maybe people want to celebrate the awesome players with lots of potential we got today instead of putting them under a microscope for possible weaknesses or compare them to other players at other schools.

I think HB WILL be elite. Not a doubt in my mind.

Not gonna recruit like Georgia when you’ve played like Vanderbilt for the last five years.

One step at a time. This is another great foundational class, like the one last year that had some players that were huge in our 5 game winning streak.

We’ll continue to steadily move up, and those UGA/FL classes will come in with the wins.

Agree, that is the only real way to measure it. Look at how many former "4 stars" that we slobbered over (and whined over losing) that are now in the portal - and most of them we are like "pass".
