FL OT Martez Ivey to have Knee surgery

I mean, I wouldn't be so worried about it. He wasn't actually injured in practice. He reported that his leg was a bit sore so they decided to check it out - which lead to them deciding to scope it. It wasn't like a big bad injury or anything.

He'll be fine in a few weeks. Thanks for the best wishes.

This has actually been a great camp for Florida from an injury perspective. As far as we know, there have been zero long term injuries.

Keanu Neal - the starting safety has been held out with an undisclosed leg injury for a couple of weeks but is expected back soon.

Duke Dawson - one of the back up safeties had a concussion but is back.

CJ Worton - expected to play at WR this year, maybe even start - was hurt and is already back.

Travaris Dorsey went down early at OG and is already back.

That's really it.

Best camp from that perspective since before Muschamp.

Air on Air drills ftw

News just came back. Good surgery. Back as early as Kentucky if all goes well.

Also Keanu neal's hamstring is OK - so he's back Monday.

I am happy for him but it's also comical he's likely to be back just in time for our game with you.

The politically correct thing to say is we should never relish any injury. The fact that this kid chose to be a gator doesn't mean that I wish ill for him. That said, I'm so starved for a win over Florida its hard not to see this as a good thing.

He is projected to be back in plenty of time for us. Not going to wish injury on any player, but there will be speculation if his injury does not heal as quick as the Gators would like.

Hope he comes back 100% on Sunday, September 27th.

Honestly, who would want to win this game with a depleted Florida team. I wish for him to have a speedy recovery and that he is full strength when we play them in the swamp.

Either way we gon whip dey azz!

Proof that McElwain is practicing them too hard and doesn't know what he's doing. Ask Vol fans.

It's not like this is Joe Thomas coming back from injury or something. He's the best OT from the class of 2015 but he's still a freshman. McElwain will have a tough decision as to whether he should play him against Tennessee if he's ready by then.
