'19 FL RB Noah Cain (Penn State signee)

Yeah, they aren't recruiting over Gray or taking his spot in this cycle.

Cain is coming in for a reason. To see if he's as good as a fit as being told by the staff. Gray isn't committed yet, even if he will COMMIT before he signs. Beasley is a RB who's committed, Gray and Cain would make 3. Someone gets a GIT shirt.

In that scenario, it would be Beasley.

Wouldn’t Beasley switch to safety or some type of position like that? After 2019 Warrior is gone, Buchanan is gone, Osborne is transferring, Gray has been moved to WR. Abernathy and TKjr were both seniors this year. Depth in the secondary, especially at the safety position, is a huge need

Pipe dream. This will show you who not to listen to any more. Kid isn't going to just pop in with no relationships and just sign. Move along now.

We say Gray is coming, but I like assurance as in a verbal this close to EE signing. Cain is also a EE. Texas has Derrian Brown from Buford committed also. They have no shortage in their backfield with 6 RB's already in Austin. He'd get immediate time there just like here. I know it's a long shot, but our luck has to turn with one of these guys still curious as to what UT has to offer that's projected to go elsewhere.

Fairy tales with happy endings are good movies but thats about all they are. Problem is, this fairy tale doesn't have a happy ending just like all the others. You guys better hope we can keep what we got by early signing period. The knife cuts both ways you know.

Gray will probably at some point during the Spring be moved back to DB. He's a DB and not a true WR. Buchanan is a CB, and I'll be glad when he's gone. Not very good in coverage, poor tackling form etc. Now, there's Flowers who will be back from injury, Jackson, who wasn't bad in limited play, and Terrell Bailey who have RS'd but doesn't really have a position being too small for OLB. We have Jaylen McCollough and Harris who are coming and will be instant upgrades, plus Beasley who played Safety out of necessity.
