It has worked against lower comp teams. Hasn’t worked against Ga or LSU. He’ll never win at a championship level recruiting like this.

When our talent catches up he’s gonna fight to be in the top 2 in the East.

Nothing’s changed from then to now. Mehlenites took heat for stating he’s a damn fine technical coach but not a SEC level closer. Every time he got a commit, the UGA fans posing as lifetime Vols would exclaim “But Mullen can’t RECRUITTTTTT!” More and more golden silence...course the ignore feature helps. Bottom line he CAN recruit but not at the elite closer level that the elite SEC coaches are all proficient. Kind of a better version of Chip Kelly which includes burnt charcoal amongst club members.

Can't argue with his on field results. They play ugly, but winning football.

However, their un-Florida level recruiting will catch up to them.
I don't believe Florida beats us if they play us in November of 2019 vs September.
Our defense was still fragmented, and our offense...well you know.
