I agree with all that..I get why Barnes isn't excited about helping land Beckwith, but he would basically be a walk on to the BB squad. Florida's BB coach is basically lying to the kid about his value as a SEC quality BB talent to help Mullen out here it sounds like to me. I agree MW has much better value as a BB player.

Just saying the odds of losing on 3 guys is less than likely, considering each is at least a reasonable prospect. It isn't like we are 3rd in line for all of them or something. I think Wiltfong even gave us a CB on Wideman today. We are clearly in a 2-team race for Beckwith and distance helps. Evans defies reason...but sounds like we are the last remaining contender against UGA. Odds look good we at least get 1 of the 3.

Hell, I'll take bets now and give anyone 2:1.

Read my post in the Beckwith thread..I don't really mean that...I am just a little salty that RB isn't playing along with Pruitt to help land Beckwith like Mike White is helping out Mullen here...at the same time I admire RBs honesty.

To test the law of averages once when I was a teenager, I flipped a quarter 100 times and it landed on heads 62 times, and then did it again and it landed heads 43 times..so somewhere in those two hundred flips it was actually even...I just think this year we are having one of those weird runs where a lot of things are not going our way due to particular circumstances, if we hit on just a few different guys this class would have been way beyond the expectations of any rational fan. It will even out at some point, and we will start getting those classes more regularly.
