Coley prob has some first game jitters since he's a true freshman. He will be a good one.

he's got a whole lot of speed. he will be a very good one.

i wouldn't be concerned about those drops either. it's something where you'll want to see if it's a pattern, but i don't expect it to be

maybe the rules change won't be as bad as i thought.

i thought there was going to be a targeting flag.

really nice play.

and 99, i just worry that if, instead of a big TE, that is some little tiny receiver there, he gets blown up, drops the ball, seems hurt... there will be a flag on that exact same play.

i can see that.

i do believe this. another crew throws a flag there.

all year long people will watch the rule be applied differently based on who's officiating.

or as you said, player bounces up from the hit....no flag.

player lies on the ground needs a trainer....flag.

I completely agree with you; it's going to be real interesting to see how this rule is applied throughout the season. Some officials are not going to throw the flag since it would result in ejection; whereas, in the past, they may have thrown a flag since it would just be a 15yd penalty. However, some one is going to lose a game because of this penalty (I just hope and pray it won't be us).

i'm waiting for miami to take its other arm from behind their back and slap the crap out of fau and it just isn't happening yet.

99, without taking tonight into account, were you already feeling confident in a gator win?

i would bet on florida.

but, i can't lie. florida didn't dominate a lot of teams last year and i don't look at too many games and think they are in the bag.

in addition, while miami has issues here and there.....miami has personnel that can make a play at any given moment. so, you can be dominating the game....blink....and then all of a sudden you've got a game again.

i think florida will win, but i would not be shocked if miami won.

while it's the opener, if i were a miami fan, i would be concerned that everything is coming from explosive plays.

i don't think i have seen a "drive" all game.

but, man they've got people who can hit a big one.
