Fla. Gators to use 2 Qb system in 2010.

I think Brantley will just be taking an indefinite leave of absence on some plays

What a confidence builder for JB. He's basically saying I don't trust that you can pick up a first down in critical situations. I hope other top flight QBs are watching and take notice.

It really crushed Chris Leak's confidence during our 2006 title run. You wonder how he completed a single pass against Ohio State.

I can....but it's more fun to bash you guys back after you start a thread bashing our QBs.

Do you actually read the OP's before you start typing?
This is the 2nd string you are on, were your comments have nothing to do with the OP.

For a year, all I've heard is how JB will be the best QB in the country, Myer says he's going to use 2 QBs, the OP states that it appears JB has a flaw and you get all butt hurt.

The only one bashing him is Urban, who says he can't trust him to run the offense by himself.

Your use of hyperbole is noted. :eek:lol:

You may have heard some people say Brantley is a better passer than Tebow. You may have heard me say Brantley is a better QB than Nick Stephens or Taylor Bray, which is strictly my opinion and I reserve the right to be wrong.

But I challenge you to find a post by any of us Gator trolls here claiming Brantley will be "the best QB in the country". That's nonsense and you know it.

As for Brantley's "flaws", he's not a short yardage specialist. Most pocket QBs like Brantley and Chris Leak aren't and never will be. It didn't stop us from winning it all with 2 QBs in '06.

'06 was four years ago.

Wow....three whole Gator fans....and that's "all you heard the past year". You must have selective hearing.

I suppose I could claim "all I heard the past year" was how Kiffin would dethrone Meyer and Saban.

That way we'd both be lying about "all we heard".

You said I couldn't find a post that backed up my statement about jb.
I quoted three, which is two more than you requested.

You were wrong, deal with it.

If I had 10 posts, you'd want 50, 50 and you'd want 100.

I gave you the proof you asked for, if you require more, find it yourself.

could that back up tight end throw??

cuz if he is just used for running..then its a one qb system still...

sort of the gator version of the wildcat...

It's not like he's going to pass on 3rd and short anyway. It'll be the same thing we saw in 2006 with Tebow and Leak. Everyone knows what is coming.

We can piss and moan all we want...but face it...LW is absolutely right about everything he's stated.

Essentially, Reed (or Burton) will be their 3rd down back...and unconvential QB in more of a wildcat mold. Brantley will make the throws, though. Purely my opinion: Brantley is a better pocket passer than Tebow. Tebow made you respect his ability to take off, which gave his WRs a little extra time to get open.

I'd say we need to worry more about our own QB situation...
