Wonder why we didn't spend more time on Joseph Uchebo, 6' 9" / 240 lbs at the same school. It was briefly mentioned that we were recruiting him 2 - 3 weeks ago. He's a top 10 center prospect. I do remember that he was in a similar situation as Chris Jones since he transferred schools, and possible concerns about his grades. Still, don't know if he had any interest in UT anyway. However, much more talented than Yemi.

Live in Bristol and the BOC was up this way yesterday apparently.

Local radio interviewed coach Martin and he spoke about the three guards that just signed with TN, no mention of anyone else.

I was shocked when the alleged Offer came before they looked at Miller this weekend.
If taking juco quality, it would seem logical to take one that's at least battle ready and doesn't burn 4 years of scholly time.

Hubbs said he talked to Yemi last night and he had no idea about what The Rev said. Yemi said he was mailing his LOI this morning.

I have never understood how it helps to demean a prospect for any reason, whether he signs or not, and much less for what his coach said. All the worse that this prospect, though lacking much experience, has real potential at the next level. Did it ever occur to you that his high school coach has his own agenda?

Reports he committed to Tennessee were false...

Do these guys actually have sources or do they just report what they see in the news?

Why do we get so worked up over this kid? If he doesn't sign, we will get someone else. If he was a superstar, that would be one thing, but that is not the case. Don't mean that I wouldn't want him, but won't get my panties in a wad if he goes elsewhere.

Out of all the crap posts (due to "sources") in this thread, the post with Hubbs talking to Yummy Macaroni is the only one that has any thread of truth it seems...
