Florida and Bama might be in some trouble.

He makes a point. What would M.H. have done behind Bama's O-line?

Not saying he was better but I don't think the drop off from Ingram would have been severe.

This from Joe Schad Twitter as well:

Source at one of schools accused of contacting Dillon Baxter says Baxter allegedly "lost his phone" since calls.

Cell phone records could clear that up. Unless of course its a disposable "pay as you go".

Who started this rumor?

Do you have to ask? Big mouth idiot was at UT for one year. Last year before the Bama-UT game , LK was on the news almost every day praising Saban almost to the point of being sick, it wasn't at all believable. After the game, he returned to his real self before he could get off the field or out of Tuscaloosa. Which 2 teams from the SEC were mentioned , the only 2 that doesn't need running backs. He is one sick puppy.

If the rumor is true, I think its funny Fresno State was included. Did thry really think a USC athlete is going to want to transfer to Fresno?

Rumors going around that they "Tampered" with USC RB Dillion Baxter.

What do you guys think?

I think that anyone who believes ANYTHING that comes out of that slug's mouth or out of anyone's mouth that supports him had better get a seeing eye dog or stop crossing the street alone.

Since the sanctions announcement, monte's kid has launched his most sinister campaign yet, IMO.

1-Hallway press conference filled with too many lies to list.

2-Had Jake Olsen call Barkley for priority adjustment (disgustingly selfish and manipulative, IMO)

3-Somehow manipulates/encourages/doesn't discourage his TOP recruit into accusations of violations, AGAIN, by a few of his top rivals.

How can ANYONE not see that monte's kid is pure low class scum and nothing else ?

He was mentioned in the NCAA's report about USC. He allegedly went to some dinner/meeting with an agent for Reggie Bush... or something like that.

That kind of evidence and testimony sounds like grounds for scholarship reductions and a bowl ban to me.

Only if USC grants them a release.

Their fate depends on several factors the most important of which are: 1) whether they were recruited or not; 2) whether they have received any athletic aid from USC prior to transfer; 3) whether they signed a LOI; 4) attended classes; 5) academic eligibility status as a qualifier, partial qualifier, or non-qualifier 6) whether they transfer out of conference or intraconference; etc.

It's a little bit complicated but for the most part if they were recruited, signed an LOI, are on campus and the university has paid for anyting at all [e.g. in their dorm, eaten a meal], attended classes, then they would require a letter of release from USC.

There is an appeal process for the student athlete that if LK refuses the release the student can petition a USC faculty committee [FARC] which is completely dissasociated from the USC Athletic Department.

That's just the short version of the process.

Since Baxter entered in the spring, signed an LOI, and practiced, he would have a tough row to hoe in gettng a release. I know of one argument for someone in his position that might be successful in getting a release but he is not going to request release. He's LK's boy.

Bama and Florida are not in trouble. This is an LK or USC or booster stunt. Someone had a bunch of people calling and pretending to be representatives of those universities. That someone knew or had access to the player's cell phone number - so you figure it out. The calls probably came from prepaid cell phones. Get the picture?

I know, right?... Hopefully Florida and Bama didn't call him on his way to early enroll for classes on the first day of summer school and tell him that a spot is waiting for him on their roster. That my friends, would be despicable.

But, so many of the Sheep on here have been complaining that CDD isn't aggressive enough to make these calls. This, my friends, is why you follow the rules to the best of your ability.

However, where was USC's freaking outrage when their newly hired coach was calling our recruits?

Also, the five schools that called probably are looking only at a slap on the wrist.

I wouldn't put it past them, but don't you think Tennessee would have been named? After all, we are the school that was so terrible to Lane and his family when they left town, right?

The kid was already in school...he entered in the spring and practiced. So every school accused already knew this.

No, his sick ego would go after big names like Saban and Meyer.

LK and his crowd have a scorched earth mentality...don't ever forget that.

Until he connects the dots and finds out that his D line is also going to be his O line in 2012 and he is going to have to hold for extra points and /fgs as a result of a 45 man roster.
