To be fair, UK is pretty much only going to be running the ball here with almost 300 rushing yards. There wouldn’t be any real clock stoppage when they had the ball to begin with.

Wish our coaches hadn't been brain dead for UF and had given more touches to Sampson. Wonder how that would have impacted the game or at least our rushing stats.

Our players just instinctually poop their pants when they see UF uniforms. Even our best team in 2 decades barely beat a 6-7 UF team in Neyland. Nothing can be read into a UT-UF result ever, as it relates to the outcome of other games.

The fact that we couldn't get off the field against this offense says a lot. It was troubling. We were eating them up against the run then "hit the guy with shoulder pads" happened. Then they got some momentum from the crowd.

It's a natural reaction to apply transitive properties to athletic events, but it's also usually a mistake. We have seen multiple times over the last few seasons that the "Kentucky played Florida so much better than Tennessee did" logic doesn't mean anything when the two teams face each other head-to-head. Even last season, it was still true, albeit to a lesser extent.

.... and as far as coaching is concerned, was Kentucky "better coached" last season, when Tennessee beat them 44-6? You sure are reading a lot into games where Tennessee and Kentucky weren't playing each other.
