Yup to your last statement, but it's always fun to show up Billy D.

Yeah, I think that gets right to the root of the discussion. We enjoy beating Kentucky because they are a basketball school and we are not. If they were in our conference and a rival, it would be the same feeling ad beating Kansas or Duke.

On the other hand, Florida is not a basketball school. So I enjoy thumping them every year just to see Billy D start that profuse sweating, turn all red, tugging at his shirt collar routine. It never stops being funny!

I will actually agree with you on that. We do greatly enjoy beating UK and UF in the regular season. We like that role of being a thorn in the side. But come tournament time, we are modest enough to realize that we rarely have a team that can win over one game at most.

Can't speak for the others, but I will choose a regular season win over either of those schools vs a one win NCAA tournament.

That was more of a shot at the rest of the big blue fans I know. They have that attitude you were speaking of that leads to just being a basketball school.
