Florida at LSU 10/17/15 ESPN 7:00 EST

callaway is such a beast dude went up and grabbed the game tying td over 2 lsu db's one of em just knocked it loose before he pulled it in

Lol. You're so salty that UF is legit and made it game. Yeah LSU dominated the passing game and ST. Lmfao. They controlled the LOS which resulted in success of LF and stopping UF backs on the other side. The only facet which they controlled. You forget they needed two trick plays to score 14 points. You make it easy for rival fans to throw out being respectful on VN.

I've only been salty to the douche that created an account a week ago just so he could come in and crack wise about how great his new favorite team is doing. No saltiness intended to the long standing rival fans that aren't complete douche tulips. Florida is good. I've never claimed otherwise. Still, their not getting routed last night was more about their good fortune than their good football.

Most of them don't singlehandedly spring a long momentum changing touchdown. Missed block in the back may be part of the game, but it is still a lucky break that allowed Florida to keep the game respectable. LSU dominated in every facet and the score didn't reflect it.

do you forget the fournette fumble at lsu 30? lol bryan cox had that frickin ball i dont care what they say

we could of possibly punched that in and made it 14-0

Without researching it, I am going to guess UF is tacked at D line with former 4 and 5 star recruits. The talent deficit in places is not what people were led to believe.

Coming into the season UF lacked at the O line(6 scholarship players), WR's, QB's(lack of development), and LB's. Coach Mac was able to bring in/recruit 9 or 10 OL and a couple DL. UF is razor thin at LB due to Anzalone being out. Gators have safeties coming up playing LB more or less. There is PLENTY of talent at UF, but there are quite a few glaring deficiencies as well.

Actually, I've been civil, you've been the douche.

But it doesn't affect me one iota, and I'm going to start using "douche tulips" in everyday conversation from here on out because it's rad.

I'll take UF fans assessment of their team over our fans. Funny when Butch claims we had a mess it's accepted as gospel but when McElwain does its coach speak.

You may be civil, but that doesn't preclude you from being a backhanded compliment making douche. You basically said we will never beat your new favorite team, but at least we have a neat website where we can all come and console each other. Gtfo with your Johnny come lately gator loving bullshat. HG, LW, Gator 99, BigBoi and others have ingratiated themselves to the regulars and never act like show boating d*ck heads. Take lessons from them if you want to post here without getting skewered for being a bandwagon tool bag.

It was a cheeky reference to your current losing streak, nothing more.

Also, I REALLY wish Florida was my "new favorite team", it would've saved 6+ years of heartache, misery, and wasted time/money/weekends.

I've lurked this place for YEARS, even tried joining back 2011, so whether you believe me or not, I'm no "johnny come lately Gator troll" and I come in peace.

Not trying to start a war here, but what is the general consensus of what lacks at UT? Is it the play calling? I feel that UT has the talent to compete.

Imo

Offense: WRs are a train wreck. Can't beat press coverage, never get separation, seem to be in the wrong spot on several plays, and routinely drop catchable balls. Titans receiver coach has said our receivers are lacking proper technique. That points to poor position coaching.

Defense: linebackers are under performing, but there is talented youth and injuries at those positions. That position will get better over time. Secondary has been a nightmare. Lack of talent, lack of physicality, and poor tackling so far. Not sure if that's coaching or just not having the talent in place to excel.

You know, I was actually feeling a bit of good will for UF after the game, until this thread today. Now I hope they lose every SEC game for the next four years.

You should read "How to Introduce Yourself For Dummies" and try again.

You post this as if they stopped him or something. He had 180 and 2 tds. But I'm sure UF's d line is scrubs also, right?

When playing Fournette, it's not about "stopping" him. It is about avoiding multiple 60+ yard TD runs. While UF can't be happy with giving up the 180, they can be pleased that his long run was 25 yards.

Not sure what to say about the game, I though LSU was kind of dominating in some areas but kept UF in the game by bad special team coverage... which I suspected could be the case. LSU better fix that pretty quickly, also, LSU is missing on coverage in the secondary which will eventually cost them a game. UF did what it could with what they had, had a chance to tie it up at the end.

Overall, solid game by both teams, LSU still isn't quite there but the potential is there... I though Harris played nearly perfect which was good to see.

You could not write a better script. The hatter beats the new guy with yet another fake kick. Coach Marlboro is now forever doomed in gatorland. End of the era. It was great! :salute:

What in the hell is wrong with your special teams?
