Florida @ Bama

Simms having video game numbers against UFs D was a head scratcher to me. While the offense still looks uncoordinated the stat line for the D would be a bigger concern.

I'm curious to what approach Tennessee will use against that UF defense.

Well...Lane beat Florida. Now he can sit up singing rocky top all night. I would just about sell my soul for UT to beat their butts. Watching him smirk up and down the sidelines with Alabubba on his back makes me want to spew! Good night and GO VOLS!

It's been 5 years.

No matter how much incompetence he has shown to be the HBC for a program, his skills as an OC/Assistant coach have shown merit.

This... Hands were on hips.

Looked to me like bodies all over the floor. Florida was manhandled all game. If not for early gifts from Bama the backups would've been in 5 minutes into 3rd quarter. That game was an atrocity for Florida and was the worst possible outcome for them.

Let's see if you guys can get your dobbers out of the dirt. If it starts poorly in Neyland, our game will get ugly also.

My team is terrible.

But Alabama is way better than Oklahoma.

I changed my mind and will engage in this pointless argument and since Alabama and Oklahoma have had a mutual opponent and respond with this:

On a neutral field:

Alabama 33
West Virginia 23

At West Virginia:

Oklahoma 45
West Virginia 33

You have zero facts to support your case and I will not even mention last year's Sugar Bowl result for the 100th time...

Apparently UF fans think they are "cursed."

We are cursed. | GatorCountry.com Swamp Gas Forums

They were merely adopted by the curse. We were born in it, molded by it.

This quote....maybe they are starting to feel our pain:

Phew, today took a toll on me. College football shouldn't be something that kills me every Saturday, but when your team is as bad as ours and your arch-rival is as good/lucky/horrifyingly immoral as FSU, it's just too much.

Think I need a break from this sport.

The sentiment you quoted is spot on. This was as demoralizing a Saturday for Gator fans as I can recall. Not just because we lost, as expected, but because we then had to watch our hated rival somehow back into a win, with their attention whore QB somehow being on TV every 30 seconds or so despite not dressing for the game (eventually).

What a bunch of Pu$$ies. They are how many years removed from a heisman winning QB and how many National championships? Good grief!

Sorry Law and LawrenceWright

Dude, you're preaching to the choir here. We've the poster child of demoralized fanbases.

First we had to watch you guys run over the entire SEC with Tebow, but at least back then we were sort of good.

Then we fell into total suckage and got to enjoy Bama's rise to dominance.

2012 has to be the bleakest year in the history of Tennessee football in terms of our own suckage compared to our rival's success.

Florida won 11 games, Bama won the National Championship, Kentucky won the natty in basketball, and Vandy beat us and won 9 games and finished ranked.

I don't feel once of pity for the gators at all and never will...you've summed it up and you're correct..

Don't think we quit as much as Bama wore our defense down. We played well against the run until the 4th quarter. Our secondary couldn't cover a cockroach with a beach blanket....VH3 included.

Quitting is what UT did against us in 2012 after UF merely tied the game late in the 3rd quarter. I still question whether or not UF was the better team that night.

There was no doubt today. If not for several uncharacteristic Bama turnovers, they score 50+ against us.

Felt bad for Hargreaves. I understand he's the best player, but why keep putting him in when it's obvious he's hurt.

Tebow wasn't on tv, mentioned, or drooled over every chance any given announcer got?

Welcome to the club Tennessee has been in for 5+ years. Enjoy your stay.

Obvious troll. You can't be that hypocritical. For F's sake, Tebow is still mentioned today.

Sadly, I don't think he is trolling.

UF fans really do think they have it the hardest out of all fanbases when things don't go their way.

I'll tell you right now. No one in the SEC east has had it as bad as UT for the past several years and it's not even close.

Yeah. Florida really has no idea. Tennessee has been wandering in the desert for years just looking for some sign of water. Florida, on the other hand, is just now getting off the bus and going, "Hey, this isn't the beach."

Welcome to the club. It sucks. Strap in.
