One downside of Freeze is he seems to have a hard time keeping guys motivated/getting up for "lesser" opponents. Bama, LSU and State they always play pretty well, after that they look like a middle of the road team.

I'm not sure that's accurate. Their losses in the last two years have pretty much all just been their games against the top (or higher) ranked teams.
