Florida De-Commits

Coaches can make only 1 call to recruits during the dead week. Recruits can call coaches as often as they want though--just like any other time.

The quote said calls. I know that is semantics but still.

Will the UT hostesses be able to work with recruits that have de-committed from UF?

does anyone else find it interesting the ny times has the story about meyer. first a source tips the ny times about vols hostesses and now they break the meyer story?

This might be a moot point now, it just came across the ESPN bottom line (watching AF v. Houston) that Kenny Brown heard from Meyer himself that he'll be back in August.

Of course we'll live without Gran, that's not what I was implying. It's just - wow. He's just proving even more so to be a recruiting machine!

Florida losing their top commitment, Elam, is bad new for their program. Look for a bunch of other recruits to bail out soon. Hopefully, Kiffin's going after all of them.

Is water wet? Is pig Puzzy pork? Is grits groceries? Is eggs poultry? Mane, you know Kiffin is all over every recruit UF got. If nothing more than to stick it to CUM.

Miami has a better shot at being the dominant Florida program than FSU does.

With Gran on the staff at FSU, I will put my money on FSU. CR.Shannon is great guy, but he doesn't impress me that much as a head coach.

Not taking away from Lane and staff but yall are putting too much into Meyer's flip-flop, most of the higher commits are EE's and those that aren't seem like they want to play for UF. Yes, some will decommit but this "sky is falling" for UF thing isn't going to happen. IMO including Elam it will only be four total, most of those have been iffy or wavering before Meyer's "issue". Also with Gran pulling in top Fl prospects that's not good for UT either.... it keeps them from UF but it also takes talent away from UT, when the vols are trying to close the gap and add depth. Time and numbers aren't on UT's side ATP.

You can put all the sugar you want on a turd, its still going to be a turd. These kids may be too stupid to see whats about to happen at Florida but come signing day and Meyer comes out and says hes not coming back, lookout.

These kids all need to talk to Calipari and get some of those fake LOI to sign that lets them out of it when Meyer retires.

Unlike most gator fans, I've said he won't coach much this year then he'll resign at the end of the yr......Bascially,he's taking this one for the recruiting class. JMO but most of this class will be gator besides elam, clark and maybe Riggs and Dorsey where it's going to hurt are with the uncommitted recruits like Hicks, Dunkley and Powell(who i believe will be a gator because of Coach Duffy).
