They have a thread that says game cancelled and the first person to post says "Bad news for UT"

lol... how far the gators have fallen to rely on cancelled games to win the East...

I saw them play Vandy. Can't blame them for wanting a cancellation. They should be hoping that the entire season is cancelled.

I promise if Florida was hurt from not playing this game they would find a way to play it ;)

If Florida finishes 6-1 and Tennessee goes 6-2 Florida goes to Atlanta. Because they have the better win percentage...

Game will be rescheduled makes no difference just delays the inevitable (Florida loss)

They're hoping it isn't. I do wonder if they can weasel out of it.

If the game never does get rescheduled and say UF goes 6-1 in the conference and we go 6-2, wouldn't they get into the SEC Championship over us?

Is that for sure. I saw someone else say earlier that it was by wins and not percentage with the same confidence. Anyone found anything that says for sure?

Maybe we should just play Vandy and cancel the rest of the games. We will have the best winning % in the EAST and win the division. (Florida Logic)

I heard the men in the athletic department of LSU bent over backwards to host Florida in Baton Rouge but Florida declined. Apparently, the men of Florida are only interested in men who bend over forwards.

It's based on number of SEC wins, not percentage so we would own tiebreaker. They can't weasel out of it that easy.

Nope. It's winning percentage.

Conference Championship.

[SEC Bylaw 30.22.1.3] The Conference champion will be determined by a game between the two division champions. The team in each division with the highest percentage of wins during all regular-season Conference competition will be declared division champion. If two or more teams are tied with the highest percentage of wins, they will be declared division co-champions. Division standings will be calculated on a percentage basis, using only those Conference games which are a part of the regular rotating schedule. Details on all tie-breaking procedures are outlined in these Commissioner's Regulations. The site of the championship game shall be set by a vote of the Conference member institutions.

Wonder how this affects recruiting? Can they not reschedule to the SEC championship weekend since they won't be playing in it? Maybe the Thursday before our SEC Championship game...
