The game was over when we didn't go up 14-3 in the first quarter, and the outcome would not have changed if Brantley didn't get hurt.
As for UT taking joy in our loss, the silver lining is Driskel will have plenty of experience by the time we come to Knoxville next year.
But by all means, continue to take delight in celebrating other teams accomplishing what UT can't.
No silver lining in that loss (starting to sound like some of the moral victory people on VN). Just got steamrolled on national television. Driskel looked like dookie. Reps are just as likely to get him killed as they are to help him.
It helps UT, but Bama beating UT in a couple weeks cancels that out. At the end of the day UGA was the big winner last night.
As for Driskel, I care how many reps he gets because right now he's our starting QB, and he's greener than grass.
I missed where I said you shouldn't want UF to lose.

Your comment about taking joy in others accomplishing what we can't led me to assume.
I've also seen other comments on here about ut fans taking delight in an injury. Maybe not by you, but that's bs. Just a little whiny on a ut site today for fla fans.

No more whiny than the natives were here a couple weeks ago.
Laughing at a classmate for getting stomped by the class bully rings hollow when that classmate already beat you down....and you still have to face the class bully.
Bottom line is UF wasn't beating Bama last night, with or without a healthy Brantley for 60 minutes. The ceiling for this UF team was winning the East. Thanks to favorable scheduling, Brantley's injury and South Carolina doing what they always do, UGA is now in the catbird seat.
Your analogy is dumb.
Florida lost. We are happy.
If you know how the SEC East works, you will understand.
I know I'm making sense when you disagree with me.
The only winner last night as far as the East is concerned is UGA. We lost to Bama, as UT will, and we'll lose to LSU, like UT will.
The East will come down to UGA and South Carolina.
How do you figure? UGA lost to USC and needs 2 USC losses to get back in it.
It's USC's to lose.
