Florida and Georgia are moving their annual rivalry showdown away from its historic home in Jacksonville, Florida, during the 2026 and 2027 seasons, Gators coach Billy Napier confirmed on Wednesday's SEC coaches teleconference. Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host the matchup in 2026, while Raymond James Stadium in Tampa will host the teams in 2027.

I think it is unfair that some teams get their biggest rival on a neutral site every year.
Surely our record with our biggest rival would be better if we played in front of a 50% hostile crowd as opposed to a 97% hostile crowd.
The SEC should ban neutral site conference games during the regular season.

College football games should be played on college campuses. This game should be played on UGA and UFs home fields and nowhere else. It’s dumb.

Kirby has been against the neutral site game for years because he loses a home recruiting weekend every two years compared to the rest of the league. I don’t think UF cared so much in the Mullen years since it was out of “recruiting season.”

Jacksonville’s stadium has to undergo renovations over those years. The game is expected to move back from 2028 onward.

These "neutral rivalry sites" are STOOPID! They should be home and home games just like every OTHER big "rivalry" game. It takes away from the rivalry, IMO. Playing on a neutral field every year is not nearly as challenging. Boring.
