Florida is a Must Win

The only thing that makes me nervous is that it is a must win for Florida too.

There is a definite Ying/Yang going on here. Have to think about how it plays into psyche of coaches and players

Mustchamp is an emotional time bomb. Think that plays negatively into the psych of his players and his decision making. This is the guy who calls a timeout so he can continue yelling at the refs with no consideration of how it affects the game.

We have had close games with good programs this year and our players can taste it. I think that works positively into their psyche.

Driskel. May be difficult for him to not try to overcompensate for his horrible play. The guy was called out by HOF, Emmit Smith for goodness sake. You think he has a thimble full of confidence? When players try too hard bad things happen.

Worley. Nothing to prove. He is confident in the middle of adversity. (2) 4th Qtr drives at UGA prove it. He just needs to go out and be Worley.

I think the most level headed, reasonable team sticks to their game plan, assignments, and doesn't overplay plays. The most level headed, solid team this weekend is Tennessee. The team is confident in CBJ and on the other side of the ball I am not sure their team has any confidence in Must-GO.

We're that ******* bad.

I'll put it this way. I'm not on board with all the mental hurdle stuff people say about the Florida game. I really don't buy it.

However, if Florida wins this year, change my username to KBVol, or I guess KBGator.

And I will never believe Tennessee will beat Florida again. If it were to happen, it would be due to a glitch in the Matrix or something.

Justin Worley does kinda resemble a young Keanu Reeves. Call him Neo.

This is a Must Win for UF - Not for UT. We still have a less talented roster than they do, and Butch is still only 4 games into his second season. Muschamp is holding on by a thread. Let's put the pressure on them - not on us.

Florida had a deeper and probably more talented roster that hasn't played to their potential. The same intangibles that aided the Vols last week (early kickoff and hunger to win) will aid the Gators this week. Also, the Gators have players who know how to close out and win these kind of games and other than SC last year our Vols haven't shown that kind of determination and heart since 2009. At some point you have to turn that corner and prove that you're more than a tough out. Maybe this is theweek they do it.?

Thing is, if you can't beat a Florida program on its way down, you'd have a really hard time arguing that this program is on its way up.

You are right but one damn thing really coach Jones can solve 2 problems at once when we kick the gators azz Saturday it will prove he was the right choice for our program plus end the streak, the biggest game we had here in a long time.We Vol fans need to get there early before daylight start drinking the shine be all fired up, and have that place rocking like it has not been in 10 years, we are above rushing the field, but we can get drunk as h@#l and roll in the streets of Knoxville Tennessee, I am 52 and will be raising hE@@ in Knoxville Tennessee come Saturday, might go to jail, but been there once or twice.:)

It's certainly a must win for Muschamp.

But you have to wonder if the team is 100% onboard with him at this point.

We saw the Vols quit on Dooley numerous times. I think part of that had to due with the fact that they no longer believed in him or wanted him as their head coach.

We may see the same thing happen on Saturday to the Gators.

Muschamp is Derek Dooley with bigger neck veins and without the orange pants. I absolutely agree that he may have lost at least part of the team.

the similarities are remarkable! :)

they have players that know how to close out games? what? besides the UT game when they were relatively healthy they didnt close out many games. They also lost a good bit of players from last yr. Also, doubt and disfunction within your team runs pretty deep. Doesnt matter how "talented" you are on paper.

I honestly think their game plan will be to knock Worley out of the game. Can't argue with it either.

There are players on UF roster who played in the Sugar Bowl less than two years ago. They had to win a few to get there. If we want to beat them it will take 4 quarters of maximum effort and we can't be fumbling the ball in the red zone.

I think this is a game we should and will win. Neyland will be rockin.. The guys wil be amp'd.. And CBJ will have them ready to play. Our defense shouldn't have a problem stopping UF's offense and our O should do enough to get a win.

thats obvious. you wont be any team fumbling in the end zone. They had players last yr who were on the sugar bowl team and more of them. It doesnt matter when your team has zero chemistry and theres a ton of doubt in your program.

lots of people feel that way now. I'm not counting any unhatched chickens.

We saw Florida get abused by Alabama. Not Kentucky -- Alabama.

I would argue that anytime you go into overtime vs Kentucky (in football) you have been abused. Also, keep in mind that Kentucky had that game won when the time expired on that UF 4th down but refs did not call penalty on UF.
