The defense played well. Held a potent offense to 9. That's pretty stout.

I don't know if we are potent, but the defense isn't bad at all. I blame Towles though especially. Interception at the start. Overthrew a few times. UF gave us chances, we didn't take them.

Good game, hope UT beats the crap out of UF. But somehow I feel like UF will win another ugly game.

Yeah I am afraid so -- the UF QB looked alot like OUs QB getting away from defenders at the last second

That seems to be how they operate against our respective schools. Dangle it in front of our faces -- "You want it?! You want it?!" -- only to snatch it away right at the end. "PSYCH!"

For sure. I hated hearing Jesse slobber over the kid like he had a great game. For morale maybe, but he sucked in the game. He made some good plays, can't deny it. Didn't think he was good though. But of course he gets it done against UK.

It's his third college game, with an offensive line held together by chewing gum and kite string, and he won on the road. I'd say he did alright.

I'm not sure any of you UK fans will see UK beat UF in your lifetime if they couldn't win these last 2 games.

And Towles sucks. There is no other way to say it.

Best front is CeCe, Bullard, Brantley and Cox.

Sub AMAC and Reed as Rush specialist.

Good depth with Clark, Ivie and Bryan. Hopefully Holley keeps getting better in practice to crack rotation.

bullard and mccalister looked every bit as dominant as fowler at times last night

i think they bout to put up some numbers this yr

bullard already has 3 sacks and 5 tfl's

mccalister was suspended the first game but he has 2 sacks and 4 tfl's

and yea brantley and cece both look dominant at times too

Might not show in the stats but Brantley has been a complete boss so far. He's getting double and triple at times. Kid has really bought into what Chris Rump is selling. I don't expect Caleb back next season.

Bullard is going to ALL SEC this season. Rump again.


Like AMAC as a rusher but he's a liability in run support like #84 for UGA.

The two things about UF's D that surprised me were the athletic ends and the tackling. That was the most sure tackling team I can recall UK playing in a long time and those fast, athletic ends (who were giving up 40 lbs on avg) couldn't get pushed around by UK's line because they never got their hands on them.

They're not a complete team and UT has a great shot to win even on the road but their D line is no freaking joke and when that pressure forces a so-so pass they have the talent in the secondary to make you pay.

UT's WRs need to be ready to break up potential INTs.
